Xiaomi introduces Mi 4i for P9,799
Through its partnership with Smart Communications, Xiaomi launches its latest product Mi 4i for only P9, 799 with pre-registrations starting July 24.
This latest smartphone offering in the Philippines features a 5-inch 1080p full HD display which makes it possible for high pixels per inch (ppi) count at 441ppi, together with a Sunlight Display technology which offers a better viewing under direct sunlight since it automatically adjusts the contrast. The product was formally introduced in Makati.
Mi 4i is actually a 2nd-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GBB of onboard Flash memory. The version is said to possess Android 5.0 Lollipop capabilities as it runs MiUI 6. Dual standby slots for 4G dual SIM capabilities are said to be of standard.
The rear camera is 13-megapixeled with two tone flash, while the front camera is 5-megapixeled that supports 80-degree wide angle shots.
The Mi 4i has a robust battery in a slim design that allows for up to 1.5 days of charge through normal use since it comes with a 3120 mAh battery, that is if power saving features are enabled. It will take approximately 3 hour-charging back to full power; however, it can go back to 40% charge within around an hour of charging for people on the go.
Since Xiaomi allied with Smart Communications, the Mi 4i will be available through Surf Plus plans on its postpaid lineup.
Steve Vickers, the General Manager for Xiaomi Southeast Asia said, “We are truly excited to partner exclusively with Smart to offer Mi 4i in the Philippines, as we introduce different ways to make it easier for Mi fans to get their hands on our products.”
Further, Vickers said that users of Mi 4i will be able to enjoy an amazing experience with the fast and seamless connectivity nationwide on Smart’s expansive mobile network.
Mi 4i is also obtainable online through Lazada this July 29 and August 1 on Xiaomi-authorized retail partner shops.
